Since 1934, AMJ Campbell has been led by a team of dedicated professionals whose expertise spans the full range of operations, marketing, and customer service.

Bruce Bowser,
President & CEO

President and C.E.O. of AMJ Campbell Van Lines, Mr. Bowser joined AMJ Campbell as Managing Partner and Vice President in 1992.

- Appointed Executive Vice President of AMJ Campbell in 1996, and appointed Executive Vice President of Corporate Development for the parent public company Camvec in 1997.

- Appointed President and C.O.O. of AMJ Campbell in 1997.

- Appointed President and C.E.O. of Camvec Corporation in September 1999.

Mr. Bowser has overseen the growth of AMJ Campbell since his appointment as President from $34 million in 1997 to over $200 million today. He has led the successful acquisition of six moving companies as well as the launch of several new product lines, such as 'AMJ Self Storage' and 'AMJ Shredding'. AMJ Campbell currently operates eight Business Divisions in 50 locations across Canada, with over 2,800 employees.

In 2003 Mr. Bowser led a management buyout of the public company and successfully took AMJ Campbell private in the midst of a hostile takeover.

In 2013, Bruce introduced 'AMJ Office Interiors'; he is quoted below:

"For many years AMJ Campbell has been involved in the receiving, distribution, installation, and moving of office furniture and seating. Many of our clients use us for multiple related services such as household, international, office moving, and shredding. This division is a natural extension of AMJ's existing business."

Initially sales offices have been established in Halifax, Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto, Kitchener, London, Calgary, Vancouver, and Florida.

Prior to joining AMJ Campbell, Mr. Bowser held various management positions with the Bank of Nova Scotia from 1985 through 1992.

Mr. Bowser received his education at St. Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia and Wilfrid Laurier University, Waterloo, Ontario.

Mr. Bowser sits on several boards and holds many titles, including:

- Director of Canada Company (supporting the children and families of fallen Canadian soldiers)

Denis Frappier, President, Self Storage & Business Development

Denis joined AMJ Campbell Inc. in 1980.  Growing equity in the company, both as a franchisee and franchisor, Denis purchased his first franchise location in 1985 and leads an ownership group with franchise locations in Central & Eastern Ontario.  He was appointed Executive Vice President in 1998 and is a Senior Partner and member of AMJ's Board of Directors.  Holding the portfolio of Business Development, Denis is an integral member in the execution and implementation of the company's strategic plan and business development strategy.  Denis also serves as President, AMJ Campbell Self-Storage and Frappier Group Inc.  Denis is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the Special Olympics Canada Foundation and an active member of the Leader Impact Ministry.  Denis also served as the Past Chair, Special Olympics Ontario, and past President of the Canadian Association of Movers.


Thomas (Tom) S. Finlay 

With a partner, Kevan Brown, Mr. Finlay purchased AMJ Campbell Van Lines' first franchise in 1983 in Vancouver and has since added Victoria, Kelowna and AMJ Campbell International Vancouver. Prior to joining AMJ, Mr. Finlay was employed in the moving and transportation industries in various capacities as well as banking with the Toronto Dominion Bank. Mr. Finlay received his education at the University of British Columbia, majoring in Political Science and Economics. Mr. Finlay is currently a member of the Vancouver Board of Trade and a member of the Board of Directors for Atlas Van Lines Canada. Mr. Finlay joined the senior management of AMJ Campbell in May of 2006.


Denis Cordick, Vice President, Marketing

Denis joined AMJ Campbell Van Lines in May 1998. Previously, he was employed as Director of Marketing at Universal Studios Canada, from 1997 to 1998; Marketing and Promotions Manager of Toronto Maple Leafs and Maple Leaf Gardens from 1989 to 1997. Denis holds a Post Graduate Degree in Sports Marketing.


Brian Farquhar, Executive Vice President of Operations

Brian joined AMJ Campbell in May 1986 and became a partner in 1987. He purchased his first franchisee in North Bay in April of 1989 and has since added, Barrie/Toronto North, Sudbury, Halifax, Truro, Middleton, Fredericton and Moncton. During Brian's career he has won Northern Ontario's 'Young entrepreneur of the year', the Financial Post's 'Top 40 Under 40' finalist and the North Bay Chamber of Commerce's 'Success story of the year'.  Brian currently sits as a member of the Board of Directors for Atlas Van Lines Canada, as well as AMJ Campbell's Board of Directors.
